The Hunt

On this page: {Intro} {} {} {} {} {Refs} {Links} Ironically (or not really) hunters are among the most "tuned-in" eco-friendly people on the planet. The hunt is a part of nature - even though we tend to think of it as violence, it is entirely *merely* a part of the cycle of life. As anyone who thinks about it must surely, see Shirely, that to over-hunt anything spells its doom - and thus the final end of the hunt. The only ethically defensible goal of the hunt is food; and the rest of what one modern-day native american called: "The portable supermarket" (when refering to the buffalo). As with wise "game managers" nothing is wasted, and everything is used or recycled. And in tribal ways, the simbiosis (both physical and spiritual) is given time in thought and ritual.
